Where has the time gone? It’s been a year since I started my training business, and I’m so very grateful for everything that has transpired over the past year.
Don’t get me wrong – there were good things and bad things that I experienced during my first year in business. But I’m thankful for everything. Even the ‘bad’ things were good because I learned from those experiences and that makes them valuable and something to appreciate. The good things were great! I have advanced leaps and bounds from where I was last year, and I am looking forward to the next year!
The best part? I can’t remember ever being this excited about what is to come!

Do you know how valuable it is to be thankful and appreciate what you have and what is happening in your life? Being grateful for what you have will change the frequency of your energy, and higher energy attracts more of the same energy – that’s a win-win situation, right? If this is something you haven’t experienced, you’ll doubt that this is true – but I can tell you from experience that it does happen!
Reduce your stress levels.
But that’s not the only benefit of being grateful. It also reduces your stress levels, which effectively lowers the amount of cortisol in your body, which is the stress hormone that is one of the culprits that prevents us from losing unwanted pounds.
And of course, it’s Thanksgiving.
That means it’s time for turkey and cranberry sauce, and time spent with family (and all the shenanigans that may come along with it!). Time with family often makes us pause and look around – sometimes we see family members we don’t see very often, and that makes us appreciate the time we have with them even more. Make sure you take the time to catch up – laugh at their stories and by all means, enjoy having a meal together. Just don’t forget to be grateful for every part of it!
