Do you have any of these fangdangled bracelets? They seem to have taken the world by storm and they are everywhere. Some are basic and some come with quite a few options. I wonder how much information do they really give? Are they worth the time and the money people are spending on them?
The answer is yes if they can get people up and moving, I think it’s wonderful and that’s the whole point! It helps you become more aware of your actions, or lack of them. When you have that self-awareness, then you can make an informed choice, right? 😉
I had one for a while a couple years ago and I thought it was very helpful to know what my quality of sleep was like and how active I actually was on a given day.
Where do you begin?
With so many options out there, how do you choose which one is right for you? A daunting task for sure, but Brenda St Amand of Helo Life writes the best place to start, in her opinion, is to really nail down what it is you are looking for in your device and how much you are willing to pay for the features that are at the top of your wish list.
The following chart is taken from her post.

IN Short…
There are a number of different types and brands to choose from and it will really come down to what sort of information you’re looking to get from them. I think people need to remember that nothing is 100% accurate but if it’s only being used as a guide to get you moving and to make you more aware, then I think it’s something that some people should really take a look into using as part of their daily routine.
They are not all the same and some can give you some much-needed peace of mind (take a closer look at the HELO Life). Technology is changing and I may not be completely on board with some of it but it feels like ‘big brother is watching’, other things can be very helpful to know as we navigate this world to make improvements to our health and fitness.
